There are several types of vaginitis. The most common ones are candidal vaginitis and fungal vaginitis. How can you distinguish between candidal and fungal vaginitis? Can be identified from many levels Identification method 1 Female secretions: Blood candidiasis vaginitis: a lot of secretions, typically thin pus-like, light green, and sticky; Blood candidiasis vaginitis: a lot of secretions, milky white, thick, watery or tofu-like leucorrhea. 2 Itching: Candida albicans is the key to vaginal and private parts, or there may be burning sensation, pain, and pain during sexual intercourse, etc. The specific manifestation of fungal vaginal itching is unbearable. In severe cases, you may feel restless and may also be accompanied by burning pain in the private parts, frequent urination, urgency, pain in urination and pain in sexual intercourse. 3 Gynecological examination: vaginal mucosal hematoma can be seen in cases of vaginal candidiasis. In severe cases, there are scattered blood spots or red hillocks, forming a "strawberry seedling-like" appearance. There is an excess of khaki, yellowish-white thin fluid, or light green purulent and sticky secretions in the posterior fornix. In the vagina with hemolytic fungus, there is a sticky, white tofu-like or watery secretion. There is a white film-like substance on the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa. After wiping off the white film, the hematoma and swollen mucosal surface can be seen. The symptoms of mold and trichomoniasis are quite similar, and the basic principles of the disease are also similar. So how do you distinguish between mold and trichomoniasis? The main symptom of candidal vaginitis is generally leucorrhea-like discharge that appears in clumps. In candidal vaginitis, the discharge is mainly clear and sticky. Both types of vaginitis cause vulvar itching, pain, and burning sensation. It is recommended to go to the hospital for medical treatment, establish a diagnosis based on acid-fast staining microscopy of the secretions, and use medication for treatment. The symptoms caused by fungal and Trichomonas infections are relatively similar. The main symptoms are itching of the private parts, and many people will also have symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, inability to hold urine, and painful urination. They can only be distinguished based on the characteristics of the secretions. The most common clinical characteristic of candidal vaginitis is that the secretion is like tofu dregs and is relatively viscous; the main secretion characteristic of candidal vaginitis is that the color is relatively yellow and the secretion is foamy, which is the key feature to distinguish fungal and Trichomonas infection. However, whether it is a fungal infection or a Trichomonas infection can only be roughly identified based on the secretions, and the final identification still requires laboratory testing. |
