What to do if women's endometrium sheds

What should women do when their endometrium lining falls off? We all know that menstruation will have an impact on women's bodies. At the same time, we hope that female friends can pay attention to their endometrial problems.

In healthy women of childbearing age, the ovaries undergo cyclical changes, with follicles constantly developing, maturing, and being released, accompanied by changes in the secretion of sex hormones. The endometrium, regulated by sex hormones, also undergoes cyclical changes of proliferation, shedding and repair. When the endometrium sheds and bleeds out of the vagina, it is called menstruation. Menstruation usually occurs every 28 to 30 days, with blood loss of about 50 ml and lasting for 3 to 7 days. Regular menstruation is a necessary condition for fertility, indicating that the reproductive system is functioning normally and is an important indicator of female health.

Menstruation is caused by hormones produced in the body. Generally speaking, when a girl reaches the age of 12 to 15, her gonads - the ovaries - can begin to ovulate, at which time the ovaries can produce two hormones: estrogen and progesterone. These two hormones can make the endometrium of the uterus proliferate and thicken, but then the secretion of these two hormones decreases sharply after ovulation. The thickened endometrium loses hormonal support and undergoes rapid degenerative changes and ischemic necrosis, causing it to fall off and flow out of the body through the vagina to form menstruation. It can be seen that menstrual blood is a mixture of shed endometrium and a small amount of blood.

The above is the introduction given by our experts about female endometrial shedding. We hope that female friends who encounter such problems must get checked in time and go to the hospital for treatment in time to reduce the harm.
