Causes of lower abdominal pain after childbirth

Causes of lower abdominal pain after childbirth

Conceiving a new life is a sacred and great thing for a woman and a family, but pregnancy for ten months is also a very difficult process. The morning sickness during pregnancy and the changes in the abdomen and uterus during this period are very painful for women. Some people may experience lower abdominal pain after delivery. What is going on? Let's take a look with the editor.

The main pathogenesis of this disease is poor circulation of Qi and blood, which causes pain when Qi and blood are not flowing smoothly or when they are blocked. The occurrence of postpartum abdominal pain is closely related to the contraction of the uterus and the physical condition of the mother. During pregnancy, the uterus stores blood and essence to nourish the fetus. As the fetus grows, the uterus gradually becomes full. After delivery, the fetus and placenta come out successively, the uterus goes from storing to draining, and from being swollen to being empty. In addition, the uterus contracts and expels the remaining blood and turbid fluid. During this process of storage and drainage, the qi and blood in the uterus change dramatically. If the mother is in good health, she can usually adapt to this. If the mother's qi and blood are weak, or she loses too much blood during delivery, or she has improper regulation after delivery, which leads to blood deficiency, the Chong, Ren and Bao meridians will not be nourished, and pain will occur; or there is excess blood and turbid fluid in the uterus, which causes blood stasis due to cold, or there is qi stagnation and blood stasis, or there is residual placenta and placenta, which will block the Chong, Ren and Bao meridians and cause pain. Common causes are deficiency of Qi and blood, and stagnation of the uterus.

1. Deficiency of both Qi and blood. The patient is weak and has insufficient Qi and blood. Furthermore, due to excessive blood loss during and after delivery, the patient is weak after delivery, with blood deficiency in Chong and Ren meridians, and malnutrition of the uterine vessels; or there is little blood and weak Qi, which makes the blood flow unable to move, and blood circulation is sluggish, causing pain due to lack of nourishment.

2. Stagnation of uterus: Postpartum deficiency of vital energy, opening of blood chamber, careless living habits, exposure to cold evil, blood coagulation due to cold; or placenta and fetal membranes retained in the uterus; or emotional distress, liver qi stagnation, disorder of qi secretion, stagnation of qi and blood stasis; blood stasis inside the body, blocking Chong and Ren meridians and uterus, causing pain due to blockage.

Do you understand the above reasons for postpartum abdominal pain compiled by the editor? If the above situation occurs, it is recommended that female friends seek treatment as soon as possible. Through the above, the editor feels that both mothers before and after delivery need physical conditioning. Only good physical fitness can reduce the occurrence of diseases.
