However, if you get an IUD in a regular hospital, this situation rarely happens.

If you really need to get an IUD, here are some common problems you may encounter after getting one:

1. Do not do heavy physical work within one week to prevent abdominal pressure, and avoid sexual intercourse and sitz baths within two weeks. 2. Keep the vulva clean and clean it daily. 3. You should receive follow-up check-ups by medical staff during your first menstruation after the IUD is inserted, and on the 3rd, 6th, and 12th months after the IUD is inserted, and then have check-ups 1-2 times a year.

4. Bleeding, backache, lower abdominal pain, etc. may occur after the insertion of the contraceptive ring. If the symptoms are mild, they can be left untreated. If the symptoms are more serious, such as bleeding exceeding the menstrual volume, timely medical treatment is required. If you find any signs of pregnancy, you should go to a family planning service center or hospital for a check-up immediately. 5. All kinds of rings have a certain service life. The T copper ring is 8-10 years, the Yunmale ring is 5 years, and the copper-containing uterine ring is more than 10 years. When the ring has reached its service life, it should be replaced under the guidance of a doctor, or other contraceptive measures should be used. Within 3-7 days after menstruation. 6. Older women should contact medical staff within six months to one year after the end of their menstrual period and remove the IUD immediately.
