Is it normal for my period to come 10 days early?

Menarche should be a very regular event, but some women find their menstruation 10 days earlier due to poor habits. Every woman has different health conditions and menstrual cycles. For women with normal menstrual cycles, a few days of error is normal. Sometimes there is no need to worry if you are late once, but if you are often late, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Is it normal for my period to come 10 days early?

The normal menstrual cycle of women is about 28 days. If the menstrual cycle is consistently advanced by more than 7 days, or even occurs twice in a month, it is called premature menstruation. If it is only 3 to 5 days earlier and there are no other obvious symptoms, it is within the normal range. Sometimes, an early menstrual period does not count as an early menstrual period. Therefore, menstruation 10 days earlier is considered irregular menstruation.

There are four main causes of irregular menstruation: infertility, hemorrhagic anemia, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts and other malignant tumors, and it also affects women's health. Menstruation is a woman's closest "friend" and a symbol of her reproductive health. There are many factors that cause irregular menstruation, such as endocrine imbalance, uterine disease, gynecological inflammation, mental factors, mood swings, environmental changes, effects of medication, fatigue, excessive work stress and health conditions, etc., all of which can affect the menstrual period, and such a situation can cause trouble for women.

Reasons for early menstruation:

1. Symptom elements:

If a woman unfortunately suffers from some diseases, such as inflammation of the reproductive organs, brain diseases, endocrine imbalance, etc., these diseases may cause early menstruation.

2. Endocrine imbalance:

Unstable or defective function of the hypothalamic-pituitary-uterine-ovarian axis can easily cause women's menstrual cycles to become increasingly irregular.

3. Effects of therapeutic drugs:

Some women need to take chemotherapy drugs and antipsychotic drugs for a long time due to their own physical reasons. Taking too much of these drugs can cause endocrine disorders. In this case, the menstruation can be restored after stopping taking these drugs.

4. The impact of contraceptive ring:

Some women will experience early menstruation after the contraceptive ring is inserted. This is normal and will recover after a period of time.

5. Poor diet:

If women often use spicy and stimulating foods and supplements in their daily diet, it is easy to cause changes in their endocrine environment and cause the menstrual cycle to be delayed.
