How many levels of pain are there in menstrual cramps and sweating?

Menstrual cramps are caused by high levels of prostaglandins produced by the body during menstruation, or by a variety of factors such as a cold constitution, which cause severe uterine contractions. Excessive uterine contractions can cause menstrual cramps. Generally, severe cases are accompanied by symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and sweating all over the body. There is currently no classification of the degree of dysmenorrhea.

How to relieve menstrual pain quickly

1. Stay warm

If ladies want to quickly relieve dysmenorrhea, the first thing we need to pay attention to is to keep warm. It is necessary to keep the body warm, because it can speed up blood circulation and relax muscles, especially the pelvic area with tendon spasms and hematoma. You should drink boiled water, or place a hot compress bag or hand warmer on the abdomen for a few minutes at a time, or use moxa sticks to burn the lower abdomen. This method is very effective in relieving dysmenorrhea.

2. Take a mineral bath

When women have menstrual cramps, they can also effectively relieve them by taking a bath. Add 1 cup of salt and 1 cup of sodium bicarbonate to the bathtub. Soaking in warm water for 20 minutes can help relax muscles and relieve menstrual pain.

3. Acupressure massage relieves dysmenorrhea

Many women do not want to move when they have menstrual pain, so massage is a better way to deal with it. There are some acupressure points on the feet that are connected to the pelvic floor. In the concave areas on both sides of the ankles, use the thumbs and fingertips to gently knead from the heel to the calf muscles, and massage for a few minutes each time.

4. Supplement minerals

Minerals such as calcium, potassium and magnesium can also help relieve menstrual pain. Experts have found that women who take high-quality protein have less menstrual pain than those who do not. Magnesium is also important because it helps the body absorb calcium properly. Why not increase your calcium and magnesium intake before and during your period?
