What gynecological diseases can cause amenorrhea?

If a woman is infected with gynecological inflammation, it will affect her menstrual period to varying degrees, usually causing delayed menstruation, affecting the amount and color of menstruation, etc., causing symptoms of irregular menstruation. So what gynecological inflammation can cause irregular menstruation?

Pelvic inflammatory disease: Due to pelvic congestion, patients may have increased menstrual periods and menstrual disorders when the ovaries are damaged.

Endometritis: The clinical symptoms of chronic endometritis are irregular menstruation or abnormal uterine bleeding, lower abdominal pain or heaviness, excessive vaginal discharge, fever, etc.

Chronic cervicitis: The clinical symptom is excessive vaginal discharge. When the inflammation spreads to the pelvis, there will be lumbar pain, lower abdominal distension and menstrual pain. This symptom is aggravated before and after menstruation, during bowel movements and during sexual intercourse. Sometimes it is accompanied by frequent urination, urgency, difficulty urinating, irregular menstruation, infertility, etc.

What are the symptoms of gynecological inflammation

1. Abnormal leucorrhea. Colorless, transparent, viscous vaginal discharge, milky white or khaki foamy vaginal discharge, fine watery vaginal discharge, tofu-like vaginal discharge, brown vaginal discharge, vaginal discharge with blood or excessive, reduced, and strong odor vaginal discharge.

2. Irregular menstruation and menstrual pain. Abnormal menstrual cycle or bleeding, or abdominal pain and systemic symptoms before and during menstruation.

3. Itching, dampness and coldness in the private parts. Vulvar itching is mostly located in the clitoris and labia minora, and can also spread to the labia majora, perineum and even around the anus. Long-term scratching can cause scars, scabs or secondary folliculitis. It is often a paroxysmal disease, but can also be persistent, with hot, damp and cold weather in the summer.

4. Non-menstrual bleeding in the vagina. Bleeding can come from the private parts, vagina, cervix and uterine wall, but the most common source is the uterus. Long-term continuous vaginal bleeding, non-menstrual bleeding after menopause, bleeding during sexual intercourse, and spotting before and after menstruation.
