Possible causes of pain in the lower left abdomen of women

From a gynecological perspective, if you have dull pain in the left lower abdomen, you should first undergo a gynecological examination to check if you have pelvic inflammation. The common manifestations of pelvic inflammation are low back pain, abdominal pain, and increased leucorrhea. To determine whether there is inflammation, it is not based on B-ultrasound examination, but on general gynecological examination, that is, to see whether there is tenderness in the uterus and adnexal area during palpation. If so, it indicates inflammation.

Left lower abdominal pain with diarrhea may be colitis. Abdominal pain caused by colitis is usually dull pain or severe pain, often located in the lower left abdomen or lower abdomen. Other main symptoms include loss of appetite, abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting and hepatomegaly; there may be tenderness in the left lower abdomen, and sometimes the spasmodic sigmoid colon can be touched. Common systemic symptoms include weight loss, fatigue, fever, anemia, etc. A small number of patients have a chronic history of illness, and their condition suddenly worsens or becomes fulminant at the first onset, with symptoms of severe diarrhea, 10-30 times a day, with discharge of blood, pus, and mucus-containing stools, as well as high fever, vomiting, tachycardia, depression, dehydration, hypocalcemia, coma, and even colon perforation, which may lead to death if not treated promptly.

1. Autoimmune reaction: Most scientists believe that the disease is an autoimmune system disease. Since this disease is often complicated by immune diseases (such as autoimmune hemolytic anemia), adrenal growth hormone can alleviate the condition. Anti-sigmoid colon squamous cell antigen can be detected in the blood cells of some patients. Therefore, it is believed that the occurrence of this disease may be related to autoimmune reaction. In addition, after some patients are infected with gastrointestinal bacteria, they may have an immune response to the sigmoid colon squamous epithelial cell antigens, damaging the sigmoid colon mucosa, and the patient's reticulocytes have a cytotoxic effect on the fetal sigmoid colon squamous epithelial cells, suggesting that the occurrence of colitis may also be related to abnormalities in immune cells.

In real life, when work pressure is too high, the mental burden is too heavy, and the mood is anxious, people are often prone to illness. What is the reason? Experts believe that this is the manifestation of the plant nervous system affecting the human immune system. When the central nervous system of plants is dysfunctional, the function of the immune system will immediately be disrupted, resulting in various recurrent symptoms.

For example: normal activity of the sympathetic nerves can promote the secretion of saliva, gastric acid, intestinal juice, pancreatic juice and insulin. When the sympathetic nerve activity is weakened and prolonged, the intestinal juice decreases, causing intestinal imbalance and colitis cannot be cured. The "neuroimmunity agent" has a special effect on regulating the central nervous system and sympathetic nerves, and using it to treat colitis has achieved unexpected results.

2. Infection: The clinical manifestations and symptoms of this disease are similar to those of some sigmoid colon infections (such as bacillary dysentery), so some people think that infection is the cause of the disease. Among various factors such as germs, bacteria and viral infections, studies have shown that viral infections are very likely.

3. Genetic inheritance: The disease has a higher incidence rate in blood relatives. According to statistical analysis of European and American reference literature, about 15-30% of the direct blood relatives of patients with ulcerative colitis will develop the disease. In addition, studies on twin babies have shown that monozygotic twins are more likely to develop the disease than dizygotic twins, suggesting that the occurrence of the disease may be related to genetic factors.
