A woman's excessive sexual desire can cause her estrogen levels to be too high, which can easily cause breakthrough bleeding in the uterine wall. Pure natural estrogen: estradiol (E2), estrone (E) and estriol (E3), which are metabolized by the uterus, ovaries, embryo and adrenal glands. In clinical medicine, estradiol (E2) is used. It has strong efficacy and is quickly digested and absorbed, but its actual effect is short-lived. The efficacy can be prolonged after lipidation. The specificity of estriol is too weak.

There are two types of synthesized estrogen: semi-synthesized and fully synthesized.

1. Semi-synthetic estrogens are derived from steroidal estrogens and are commonly used as contraceptives, such as ethinyl estradiol, which has a legal effect 20 times that of diethylstilbestrol. There are also two other types: ethinyl estradiol methyl ether and ethinyl estradiol monocyclopentyl ether (also known as ethinyl estradiol ether).

2. The estrogen produced is non-steroidal estrogen, including diethylstilbestrol (also known as ethoestrol), hexaneestrol and chlorotriphenyltetrazol. Common medications include oral administration of ethinyl estradiol and ethinyl estradiol and intramuscular injection of estradiol benzoate.
