Excessive estrogen metabolism will immediately cause high estrogen levels. The reasons for high estrogen levels include overactive ovaries, abnormal hypothalamic pituitary function, hyperthyroidism, liver cirrhosis, excessive use of hormone-containing foods, dietary factors, obesity, and psychological factors, all of which can cause high estrogen levels. In addition, obesity can also cause high estrogen levels. Obesity and endocrine are closely related.

The ovaries will shrink after the age of 30, and this trend will show a sharp decline at the age of 35.

So, how to evaluate a person's ovaries? There are three blood test indicators for reference:

1. AMH Anti-Müllerian Growth Hormone

A new ovarian marker is AMH (anti-Mullerian hormone), which is present in the granulosa cells of all primary and primordial eggs. Large and perfect eggs or corpus luteum will not secrete AMH, and therefore can faithfully reflect the total number of eggs in the ovaries and will not fluctuate due to the menstrual cycle.

The higher the AMH level, the more eggs the uterus and ovaries can store in the future; the lower the level, the more limited the total amount of eggs.

An authoritative expert clearly stated:

AMH standard value

AMH indicates ovarian fragility, and early pregnancy is recommended

2. FSH Follicle Stimulating Hormone

A blood test for FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) on the 3rd to 5th day of the menstrual cycle can be used as an indicator of the supply of egg cells in the uterus and ovaries.

FSH shows that the egg supply is normal

FSH egg cell supply declines

3. E2 estradiol

E2, also known as "cardiotonic hormone", is a female hormone secreted by granulosa cells in the uterus and ovary. When granulosa cells in the uterus and ovary are stimulated by FSH, they secrete a large amount of E2.

The function of E2 is to stimulate endometrial hyperplasia and can be used to evaluate the ovaries. The concentration of E2 decreases during menopause.

Oocyte quality is absolutely related to age

If a woman over 30 is considering preparing for pregnancy directly, she can first go to the hospital for a gynecological color ultrasound examination to assess the condition of the uterus, ovaries and eggs, and have a blood test for AMH, FSH, and E2 to assess the current and future ovaries.
