Pregnant woman vomiting to determine the gender

Pregnancy reaction refers to some adverse symptoms during pregnancy, such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness, etc., but all these reactions are normal reactions. There is no definite scientific evidence as to whether they can distinguish between men and women, so everyone should try not to have high expectations, just take it as an example. So let us find out whether it is accurate to distinguish between men and women when pregnant women vomit.

It is unreasonable to distinguish between men and women based solely on the size of the body. Nowadays, the gender of the fetus is usually determined by ultrasound examination. However, even the most experienced imaging experts can only do this at around three and a half months or more than three months of pregnancy, and the success rate cannot reach 100%.

There is another test, which uses the pregnant woman's peripheral nerve blood, that is, capillary blood. A small amount of blood is taken from the pregnant woman's earlobe, made into a blood smear, and then passed through a special stain and used cytological histology technology to assess the sex of the fetus. This test is relatively safe.

How does pregnancy reaction occur?

1. Pregnancy reaction refers to the increase of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the pregnant woman's body in the early stage of pregnancy (about six weeks after menstruation), decreased gastric juice secretion and increased gastric emptying time, resulting in a series of reactions such as dizziness, weakness in limbs, loss of appetite, preference for sour food or aversion to greasy food, nausea, vomiting in the morning, etc. These symptoms generally do not require special treatment. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, with the decrease of HCG levels in the body, the symptoms will naturally subside and the appetite will recover.

2. Pregnant women should be reminded that not all vomiting is a reaction to early pregnancy. Occasionally, a very small number of pregnant women have severe reactions, such as frequent nausea and retching, inability to eat, affecting their work and life, and even threatening their lives. This is called hyperemesis gravidarum.

The above is a detailed introduction on whether pregnancy reactions can distinguish between men and women. In fact, in today's social development, there is not much difference between boys and girls. If you worry that your daughter will not be able to return home after getting married and will not be able to take care of you in your old age, that's not the case, because transportation is relatively prosperous nowadays and some girls are also very outstanding. So whether the child is a boy or a girl is actually not that important.
