How to cure the second degree of cervical erosion

In life, many women are troubled by gynecological diseases. Currently, gynecological diseases are a major threat to women's health. Cervical erosion is a relatively common gynecological disease. Generally, cervical erosion has no obvious symptoms and will not attract women's attention. In clinical practice, cervical erosion is divided into first degree, second degree and third degree. When cervical erosion reaches the second degree, it needs treatment.

How to cure the second degree of cervical erosion

Generally, for cervical erosion, if you expect the cervix to heal on its own, it will take a long time and the effect may not be very clear. Therefore, if the cervical erosion is found to be severe, it is recommended that the patient go to the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic of the local hospital. If necessary, physical therapy or anti-inflammatory treatment should be given to treat cervical erosion. Generally, after clinical treatment, most patients' cervical erosion will be well treated. If cervical erosion recurs and does not heal, it is recommended that the patient promptly identify the cause of the non-healing and receive timely symptomatic treatment.

The dangers of cervical erosion

First, complications will occur. When suffering from cervical erosion, it will cause inflammation of other organs. For example, the pathogens of cervical erosion can ascend to cause endometritis, and can spread through the parauterine ligaments and lymphatic vessels to cause chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. When the inflammation spreads to the bladder triangle, it can cause urinary system diseases and cause irritating symptoms such as urinary pain, frequent urination or difficulty urinating. Due to long-term stimulation of chronic inflammation, deeper diseases such as polyps, lacerations, eversions and cysts may occur.

Second, when cervical erosion occurs, especially moderate or severe cervical erosion, cervical secretions will increase significantly, become thick in texture, and contain a large number of white blood cells, which will have an adverse effect on sperm motility, hinder sperm from entering the uterine cavity, and affect conception.

Third, the incidence of cervical cancer in women with cervical erosion is nearly ten times higher than that of the general population. Under the stimulation of long-term chronic inflammation, atypical hyperplasia may occur in the columnar epithelium derived from the proliferation of the cervical canal. If it is not treated promptly and correctly, it will gradually develop into precancerous lesions of the cervix.
