What does a low-echo breast nodule mean?

A low-echo breast nodule refers to a lump in the female breast, which can easily endanger a woman's health. It is also divided into benign and malignant nodules. If it is a malignant nodule, it can easily spread and requires timely treatment and care. In daily life, you can eat more light and nutritious foods and maintain a positive attitude.

What does a hypoechoic breast nodule mean?

Breast hypoechoic nodules are generally lumps, which are divided into benign and malignant. Benign fibroadenomas are the most common, accounting for more than 98%. They still need to be handled and treated, otherwise they will cause metastasis over time. It is recommended to go to a breast specialist for a complete examination, and do a puncture pathology. Based on the results, active symptomatic supportive treatment is given. If it is benign, the problem is not serious and a small outpatient surgery can be performed to remove it. Afterwards, do not eat fried chicken or other foods with high hormone levels, adjust your mentality, maintain a good mood, and have regular check-ups. If it is malignant, a full-body evaluation is required to see if there is any metastasis and actively treat it.

A mass is not a nodule. A mass should be considered a type of nodule. A nodule may contain a mass, but a nodule is not necessarily a mass. Because during a woman's menstrual period, before menstruation, her hormone levels will increase and the breast tissue will show signs of hyperplasia. After the menstruation is over and the hormone levels drop, the breast tissue will regress. This is related to what we often call breast hyperplasia. If the hyperplasia period is longer than the regression period, then over time some breast tissue will show aggregation of fibrous connective tissue, forming some hyperplastic nodules. These nodules are tough, slightly protruding from the surface of the gland, and may even fuse with each other. They may be tender during menstruation or when one is in a bad mood. These are some of the most common breast nodules we talk about. In addition, when it comes to nodules, there are some tumors, including benign tumors and malignant tumors. The most common benign tumors include breast adenomas, papillomas, and some breast induration diseases, etc. These will all cause some breast nodules. Of course, malignant tumors will also form this kind of tumor, which will appear on the surface of the breast gland.

Specifically, the term "breast nodule" is a very broad expression. Many women use their fingers to pinch breast tissue due to improper examination. Then, because breast glands have glandular tissue, they feel as if their breasts are full of nodules. This is because their examination and pinching methods are incorrect. Therefore, you still need a professional doctor to help you judge breast nodules. Nodules are not the same as tumors, so don't panic too much when you have nodules. Sometimes when you touch a nodule, it may not show clearly on imaging, such as B-ultrasound or molybdenum target.
