If the belly button bulges out during pregnancy, is it a boy or a girl?

Whether to have a boy or a girl is not something that can be decided by humans. The sex of the fetus is determined at the moment the fertilized egg is formed. B-ultrasound can be used later to determine the sex of the baby. However, during pregnancy, many pregnant women will judge the gender of the child based on different physical symptoms. So, if the belly button bulges outward during pregnancy, is it a boy or a girl? Let’s take a look below.

After pregnancy, the belly button bulges outward, and both boys and girls are born. Obviously, this cannot be used as a basis for determining the gender of the fetus. Pregnant mothers, the convexity or concavity of the belly button during pregnancy has nothing to do with the gender of the fetus. The following points are the reasons why the belly button bulges outwards.

1. Rapid fetal growth

Some fetuses develop quickly and are relatively large, which causes the pregnant mother's abdominal tension to increase and the belly button to bulge outward easily.

2. It is related to the congenital development of the pregnant mother’s belly

Some pregnant women have congenitally poorly developed belly buttons, which can easily lead to umbilical hernia. After pregnancy, the abdominal tension increases, and it is easy to have a protruding belly button.

3. Related to fatigue

When some pregnant mothers are tired, the abdominal pressure will increase and the belly button will bulge out easily, but it will get better after rest. So expectant mothers, don’t overwork yourself during pregnancy. Get enough rest, which is good for both yourself and the fetus.

The protruding belly button during pregnancy is related to the pregnant mother's own physical constitution. There is no scientific basis for using this to determine the gender of the fetus. Expectant mothers should not blindly believe in some methods of judging the sex of the fetus by the convexity or concavity of the belly button. The sex of the fetus is determined at the time of fertilization. If the prospective father provides Y sperm, the baby will be a boy after birth. If the prospective father provides X sperm, the baby will be a girl after birth.

After pregnancy, in addition to the changes in the bumps of the belly button, some pregnant women will also carefully discover that the area around the belly button has become darker, or some pregnant women have "luxuriant" sweat hair growing around the belly button. Expectant mothers should not worry or be afraid of such changes in their belly buttons. This is related to the hormonal changes in the pregnant mother's body. Some pregnant mothers also show that the entire belly is obviously darker, and the pregnancy line on the belly is of different thicknesses and shapes. It is related to the pregnant mother's physique and hormonal changes in the body, and is not affected by the gender of the fetus.
