Can polyps turn into cancer after removal?

There will be no canceration after polypectomy, and polyps generally will not recur after polypectomy. They will also form hyperplasia, which can ensure the vitality of cells, so there is no premise for canceration. Therefore, after polypectomy, patients should adjust their mentality to face the disease. Moreover, if there are many polyp hyperplasia, they cannot be treated only by drugs. The chance of polyps becoming cancerous will also increase, and patients should pay attention to it.

Repeated removal of polyps does not lead to cancer. Polyps do regenerate easily, but even if they are repeatedly removed, they will not cause cancer. They have nothing to do with cancer. However, if polyps are not removed, the risk will be very high. They may cause mutations and make you more likely to get cancer. Therefore, once polyps are confirmed to be present in the body, a pathological examination should be performed as soon as possible, even if they are removed.

Polyps are very proliferative. Although they are made up of ordinary muscle cells, their cell vitality is very strong and they can easily undergo cell division, causing the polyps to regenerate continuously. Many people want to prevent the growth of polyps, but there is no good solution. Taking medicine is not effective, so surgery is generally used for treatment. The possibility of a single polyp becoming malignant is very low, but if there are a large number of polyps, the possibility of malignancy is very high.

When polyps appear in the human body, they must be removed immediately. Polyps are very easy to appear in the human intestines and stomach. If they are not removed in time, the risk of cancer will increase exponentially. People should pay attention to daily physical examinations. If they feel unwell, it is best to use endoscopy in time. This can discover many hidden diseases, eliminate health risks in time, and ensure a healthy body.

If polyps are not removed, they can easily become malignant and eventually cause cancer. Therefore, if polyps appear, surgery must be performed in time. Repeated removal of polyps will not lead to cancer, so people do not have to worry about this. The risk of cancer will only arise if treatment is not given. The only treatment for polyps is surgery. Polyps have a strong regenerative ability, and drug treatment is not very effective and is not recommended.

Dietary considerations after gastric polypectomy:

1. Do not eat after the operation. After the intestinal peristalsis is restored and the anus is exhausted, you can drink a small amount of water on the day after the gastric tube is removed, 4 to 5 tablespoons each time, once every 2 hours. If there is no adverse reaction, an appropriate amount of clear liquid food can be given the next day, 50ml to 80ml per time.

2. On the third day, give full amount of liquid, 100-150 ml each time. Eat 6 to 7 meals a day. The dietary principles are: non-irritating and liquid food, eat small meals frequently, and eat every 2 to 3 hours. Choose food that does not cause bloating and is not too sweet, such as egg soup, rice soup, vegetable soup, lotus root powder, etc. It is advisable to lie down for 20 to 30 minutes after a meal.
