Symptoms of back myofasciitis in women

In current clinical medicine, fasciitis is not a rare disease. The sites of occurrence of fasciitis are also varied. For example, many women have back fasciitis problems, which can cause great pain to their waist and back. If not treated in time, the pain will be further aggravated. So, what are the symptoms of back fasciitis in women? This will be introduced below!

1. Symptoms of cervical and shoulder myofasciitis

Widespread pain, soreness, heaviness, numbness, stiffness and limited movement in the neck, shoulders and back, which may radiate to the back of the head and upper arms. The pain is persistent and may be aggravated by infection, fatigue, cold, moisture, etc. Physical examination revealed tense neck muscles, with tenderness often located in the spinous process and the trapezius and rhomboid muscles beside the spinous process. The tenderness was localized and did not radiate along the course of the nerves. The disease develops slowly and has a long course. X-ray results are mostly negative

2. Treatment Principles

The treatment of acute fasciitis requires specific analysis of the specific situation. For some patients with mild symptoms, they only need to pay attention to proper rest to effectively relieve the condition; for patients with more serious conditions, massage and hot compresses can be performed, and drug treatment can be carried out at the same time; commonly used drugs for the treatment of acute fasciitis are diclofenac and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen. Ibuprofen has a slow effect and is not suitable for long-term use, so oral vitamin E can also be used for treatment. If the patient's symptoms are persistent and do not respond to conventional treatments, surgery may be an option.

3. Notes

Patients with acute fasciitis of the back are best to sleep on a hard bed. If the mattress is too soft, the patient's spine will not be able to remain within the normal physiological curvature range. It is best for patients to maintain their weight and lose weight if necessary to avoid being overweight and thus adding burden to the waist. Patients should try to avoid hunching over a desk with their heads bowed for long periods of time. They can stand up and move their arms to relax their muscles every once in a while. In addition, patients should avoid cold in the waist and back, especially avoid direct exposure to air conditioning in the summer and do not sleep on the floor. People with acute foot fasciitis should reduce high-impact activities such as jumping and running, choose suitable and soft shoes, and pay attention to proper rest.
