Premonition of corpus luteum rupture

Premonition of corpus luteum rupture

The health of women's bodies is an issue that every woman deserves attention, because the probability of female friends suffering from gynecological diseases is very high, and if they are not careful, they may suffer from more serious gynecological diseases. Among them, corpus luteum rupture is a very serious gynecological disease, and every female friend should pay attention to it. What are the signs that the body will show before the corpus luteum ruptures?

Overview

Corpus luteum rupture is a relatively common gynecological disease. Its most basic symptom is sudden abdominal cramping without any warning after the patient becomes ill. The patients of this type of disease are mainly concentrated in the age group of 14 to 30 years old. In order to help more women better understand and deal with the problem of corpus luteum rupture, gynecological experts answered questions about the symptoms of corpus luteum rupture.

Where does the corpus luteum rupture hurt and what are the specific symptoms?

Patients with corpus luteum rupture will mainly experience varying degrees of sensation in the lower abdomen. Even so, the process by which it occurs is very different from the abdominal pain of ectopic pregnancy. As for the abdominal pain during fallopian tube abortion, it will present multiple attacks due to repeated heavy bleeding, while for corpus luteum rupture, it will gradually coagulate and stop bleeding after a bleeding, and the number of repeated attacks is relatively small.

The patient suddenly experienced lower abdominal pain in the late menstrual period, with pain when pressing and rebound pain. When patients undergo gynecological examination, they will experience tenderness in the posterior fornix and cervical movement tenderness. When performing B-ultrasound, pelvic effusion and adnexal masses can be found. The posterior fornix can be punctured and the blood drawn will not coagulate. Because its clinical symptoms, characteristics and B-ultrasound results are similar to those of ectopic pregnancy, it is easy to be misdiagnosed as ectopic pregnancy.

In addition to abdominal pain symptoms, corpus luteum rupture also occurs at a relatively concentrated time, usually in the second half of the menstrual cycle. Generally, patients do not have symptoms such as delayed menstruation and vaginal bleeding. The results of laparoscopic examination of the patient showed that the corpus luteum and rupture of the ovary, sometimes with active oozing, and the fallopian tubes on both sides were normal.

Precautions

Although corpus luteum rupture is different from ectopic pregnancy, the treatment methods are basically the same, mainly divided into conservative and surgical treatments. However, since the chance of recurring corpus luteum rupture is relatively rare, the success rate of conservative treatment is relatively high for most patients when their condition is stable. Here, experts recommend that patients who want conservative treatment should undergo laparoscopy before treatment to confirm the chances of success.
