Polycystic ovary disappeared after exercise

Generally speaking, female friends suffer from more female diseases than male friends. Polycystic ovary syndrome is also an ovarian disease that often occurs in modern women. After suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome, patients will also show many symptoms in their bodies, such as unexplained weight gain and irregular menstruation. But at this time, many people will find that polycystic ovary syndrome disappears after exercise. Why?

First, let’s understand what polycystic ovary is. Polycystic ovary disease begins in adolescence, and its main clinical manifestations include menstrual disorders, excess androgen and obesity. The diagnostic criteria for polycystic ovary are infrequent ovulation and anovulation, clinical manifestations of hyperandrogenism and hyperandrogenemia, and polycystic changes of the ovaries. B-ultrasound shows that one or both ovaries have 12 or more follicles with a diameter of 2-9 mm and the volume of the ovaries is greater than or equal to 10 ml. If two of the above three items are met and other causes of high androgen are excluded, polycystic ovary syndrome is diagnosed.

The cause of this disease has not yet been fully elucidated, but current research suggests that it may be due to the interaction of certain inherited genes or environmental factors. Although the cause is unknown, treatments can be tailored to the patient's symptoms.

The primary treatment for polycystic ovary syndrome is to adjust lifestyle. Obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome should adjust their lifestyle, including controlling diet and increasing exercise to reduce weight and waist circumference, increase insulin sensitivity, and reduce insulin and testosterone levels, thereby restoring ovulation and reproductive function. Polycystic ovary disappears after exercise because after exercise and lifestyle adjustments, the patient's weight has decreased, waist circumference has shrunk, and hormone levels have returned to normal, thereby restoring ovulation and reproductive function. The condition has improved, but it has not been completely cured, only the symptoms have been alleviated.
