What are the ultrasound manifestations of early endometrial cancer?

The uterus is very important for women. If a woman's uterus suffers from a disease, it will not only affect her physical health, but also affect her fertility. Endometrial cancer is a common malignant tumor. If you suffer from endometrial cancer, you must actively treat it. However, in general, women usually have some symptoms in the early stages of endometrial cancer, but it needs to be confirmed by B-ultrasound. What are the B-ultrasound manifestations of early endometrial cancer?

1. Uterine bleeding: Irregular vaginal bleeding before and after menopause is the main manifestation of the early symptoms of endometrial cancer. It is usually a small to moderate amount of bleeding, and rarely a large amount of bleeding. Not only are younger or menopausal patients prone to mistakenly believe that they have irregular menstruation and fail to seek medical treatment in a timely manner, but even doctors often neglect it. Some people also have delayed menstrual cycles, but the symptoms are irregular. Postmenopausal patients often present with continuous or intermittent vaginal bleeding. Patients with endometrial cancer generally do not have contact bleeding. Late bleeding may be mixed with rotten meat-like tissue.

2. Vaginal discharge: Because adenocarcinoma grows in the uterine cavity, the chance of infection is less than that of cervical cancer. Therefore, in the early stage, there may be only a small amount of bloody leucorrhea. However, if infection and necrosis occur later, a large amount of foul-smelling pus and blood will be discharged. Sometimes the discharge contains small pieces of cancerous tissue. If pus accumulates in the cervical cavity, it will cause fever, abdominal pain, and leukocytosis. The general condition also deteriorated rapidly.

3. Pain: Paroxysmal pain is caused by the cancer, its bleeding and the congestion of fluid, which stimulates irregular contractions of the uterus, accounting for about 10-46%. This symptom usually occurs in the late stage. If the cancerous tissue penetrates the serosa or erodes the parauterine connective tissue, bladder, straight or compresses other tissues, it may also cause pain, which is often stubborn and progressive, and often radiates from the lumbar sacral region and lower abdomen to the thighs and knees.

What is Endometrial Cancer

Endometrial cancer is a group of epithelial malignant tumors that occur in the endometrium. It is one of the three major malignant tumors of the female reproductive tract, with adenocarcinoma originating from the endometrial glands being the most common.

The incidence of endometrial cancer accounts for 7% of all female systemic malignant tumors and 20%-30% of female reproductive tract malignant tumors. Endometrial cancer is divided into two types: estrogen-dependent and estrogen-independent, with the former being more common.

Regardless of the symptoms of endometrial cancer detected through B-ultrasound examination or in daily life, as long as the disease is confirmed in the hospital, standardized treatment should be provided. If you suspect you have endometrial cancer, remember to go to the hospital for a detailed examination in time for further diagnosis and understanding.
