I have very little vaginal discharge, am I pregnant?

It is well known that the amount and texture of women's leucorrhea may undergo slight changes in different stages of their life cycle, such as ovulation, pregnancy, and menstruation. For example, some women experience a sudden increase in menstrual flow before their period, and a decrease in menstrual flow after pregnancy. So does it mean that as long as the amount of leucorrhea becomes less, it means that the woman is pregnant? What is the inevitable connection between a woman’s pregnancy and the amount of her vaginal discharge?

Does less leucorrhea mean pregnancy?

Normally women's leucorrhea is colorless, transparent, and has no odor. The amount of leucorrhea is not fixed and depends on each person's sense of comfort. If there is a significant change in the amount of vaginal discharge, it means it is abnormal. For female friends during pregnancy, due to changes in hormone levels in the body, the amount of leucorrhea will become more than usual, which is normal. If the leucorrhea becomes less after pregnancy, it is an abnormal condition. It may be caused by gynecological inflammation. You need to go to the hospital for examination in time to find out the cause and carry out targeted treatment.

Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Amenorrhea: First, your menstruation will not come as scheduled, but you may continue to have a small amount of bleeding in the first three months, which is why some women do not realize they are pregnant until three months into the pregnancy. About seven days into your pregnancy, you'll have what's called implantation bleeding.

2. Breasts become sensitive: One of the obvious characteristics of pregnancy is that the breasts begin to become sensitive, swollen, and feel sore for no reason. You may feel something in your breast while trying to find a comfortable position to sleep, while exercising or bathing, or while getting dressed.

3. Fatigue: An early symptom of pregnancy. You may go to bed earlier, but find it more difficult to get up in the morning. If you have a job, by midday you'll feel the need to lie down somewhere and take a break.

4. Frequent urination: After pregnancy, you go to the bathroom more frequently. This happens because the expanding uterus puts pressure on the bladder. Also, pregnancy causes the kidneys and bladder to produce more fluid.

5. Nausea: This symptom may appear in the first week of pregnancy. Many women vomit when drinking water or eating breakfast on an empty stomach in the morning (this is morning sickness). Some pregnant women may feel nauseous in the afternoon or evening, while others may feel nauseous throughout the day.

Generally speaking, as long as women do not have sex during the safe period, the chance of pregnancy is still very high. However, if a woman is not sure whether she is pregnant after having sex, she can use a pregnancy test strip 10 days after having sex, or go to the hospital for a blood HCG test for confirmation, especially the blood HCG test results will be more accurate than the early pregnancy test strips.
