Herpes is a very common gynecological disease for women. This gynecological disease is mainly caused by women's unclean sexual lifestyle. Especially for women who have contact with more men, the probability of developing herpes will also increase. In addition, women must pay attention to hygiene issues when engaging in sexual life to prevent bacterial infection. Women with herpes will experience genital itching, increased vaginal discharge, and translucent blisters on the skin. 1. Symptom 1: Small yellow-white or translucent blisters appear on the skin surface, often in patches and filled with fluid. Generally speaking, diseases like smallpox and chickenpox have this symptom. 2. Symptom 2: A skin disease whose pathogen is a virus. It often occurs on the upper lip or face. The symptoms are local itching first, followed by the appearance of blister-like bumps containing clear liquid and slight pain. The scabs will heal on their own after one or two weeks. There are many types of herpes, which are divided into three categories: genital, simple herpes, and herpes zoster. 3. Symptom three: Due to the degeneration of the bridges between epidermal cells (desmosomes and tension filaments, etc.), the cells lose their close connection and become loose, thus forming cracks, blisters or ulcers in the epidermis. This is when herpes will develop. In women, the lesions are located on the vulva, around the anus, thighs or buttocks. About 90% of them also invade the cervix, presenting as cervical redness or multiple scattered ulcers. There may be swollen lymph nodes. HSV-Ⅰ mainly causes oral herpes, pharyngitis, keratoconjunctivitis and sporadic encephalitis, while HSV-Ⅱ infection mainly causes genital herpes, but the opposite situation can also occur clinically. HSV-Ⅱ infection mainly occurs in the genital area. The patient first has a burning sensation in the area, and soon groups of small blisters develop on the original basis. It is more common in the foreskin, glans, coronal sulcus, penis, etc. of men, and occasionally in the urethra; in women, it is common in the labia, clitoris, vagina, cervix, etc. The blisters may gradually turn into pustules, and then break in about 6 days to form erosions or shallow ulcers, which are painful. Patients may develop urethritis and have difficulty urinating. Most people have swollen and painful inguinal lymph nodes, and some patients may experience fever, muscle pain and symptoms of meningitis. If it occurs in the female cervix, it may cause ulcers and necrosis, increased vaginal secretions, and lower abdominal pain. Attention should be paid to the occurrence of cervical cancer. Genital herpes during pregnancy can easily lead to miscarriage, premature birth or stillbirth, and can easily infect the newborn and cause neonatal herpes simplex. The disease can usually be cured after about 3 weeks, but it often recurs, usually within 1-4 months after the primary rash. The symptoms are milder than the primary one and the range is also smaller, limited to the genital area, sometimes only 1-2 herpes, and the course of the disease is also short, from onset to healing 8-12 days. The disease may also be accompanied by infections in areas other than the genitals, such as the lips, arms, and central nervous system. |
