Feeling cold during menstruation

Feeling cold during menstruation

If you feel cold all over during menstruation, it is probably related to your physical constitution. If you have a cold constitution, you are very likely to feel cold. At this time, you should pay more attention to keeping warm. You can eat foods with high nutrient content. You should also maintain your mental happiness and avoid giving yourself too much stimulation. The most important thing is to keep your reproductive organs clean and hygienic.

Menstrual flow analysis

The amount of menstrual flow varies from woman to woman, generally ranging from 20 to 100 ml. It is normal to change sanitary napkins or paper 3 to 5 times a day. If you catch a cold, it will cause an increase in menstrual flow. If the amount of menstrual blood is too much, the sanitary napkin or paper will soon become wet again after changing it, and the blood may even flow down your legs. This is abnormal. Excessive menstrual bleeding may be functional uterine bleeding caused by factors such as excessive mental stress, environmental changes, malnutrition, and metabolic disorders. Long-term excessive menstrual blood can cause anemia, and the cause should be identified and treated.

Six major care methods

1. Keep a happy spirit and avoid mental stimulation and mood swings. Some women may experience lower abdominal distension, back pain, breast tenderness, mild diarrhea, fatigue, drowsiness, mood swings, irritability or depression during menstruation. These are all normal and there is no need to be overly nervous.

2. Underwear should be soft, cotton, and well ventilated and breathable. Wash and change them frequently, and dry them in the sun.

3. Pay attention to hygiene and prevent infection. First, pay attention to the hygiene of the external genitalia. You should never have sexual intercourse during menstruation. When the flow is heavy, you should change sanitary napkins frequently. You can also choose sanitary napkins on the market that are designed for periods of heavy flow.

4. Keep warm and avoid cold stimulation. Avoid overwork.

5. Avoid eating raw, cold, sour, spicy and other irritating foods. Drink more boiled water to keep your bowel movements smooth. People with hot blood should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables before menstruation, and avoid eating foods that stimulate fire such as onions, garlic, leeks, ginger, etc. People with qi and blood deficiency must increase their nutrition on a regular basis, such as milk, eggs, soy milk, pork liver, spinach, pork, chicken, lamb, etc. Avoid eating raw or cold fruits and vegetables. People with heavy menstrual bleeding should avoid eating brown sugar.

During menstruation, it is generally recommended to eat some bananas, oranges, durian, ginseng fruit, guava and other fruits. You can eat three kinds of them alternately in the morning, noon and evening. However, if you are a woman who suffers from menstrual cramps, it is recommended that you eat less apples.
