Endometrial blood streaks at 16cm

Endometrial blood streaks at 16cm

If a woman wants to become pregnant normally, there must be no problems with her reproductive system, especially the thickness of the endometrium is also critical for pregnancy. The normal thickness of the endometrium is between 2 and 8 mm, and it increases to 10 mm during ovulation. However, some women have blood streaks in the endometrium at 16mm, which is very unfavorable for pregnancy. If it is too thin, it can easily cause miscarriage, while if it is too thick, it can make pregnancy difficult and requires treatment.

The normal endometrium is generally 2-10mm, 8-10mm during ovulation, and 10mm thickness is normal during pregnancy. 1.6cm is endometrial thickening, which refers to a disease in which the endometrium grows excessively due to inflammation, endocrine disorders, or certain drugs. It is usually related to excessive secretion of ovarian estrogen and lack of progesterone. It can be treated with medication, hormones such as progesterone, or traditional Chinese medicine. In severe cases, a curettage surgery is required.

During the treatment, you should avoid eating raw, cold, spicy and irritating foods, pay attention to rest, keep a good mood, avoid fatigue, and take gynecological inflammation medicine for conditioning; eat some blood-enriching and blood-activating foods, such as black fungus, donkey-hide gelatin, soy milk, etc.; eat more vegetables, fruits, and maintain a large amount of vitamin E and vitamin B2; be sure to quit smoking and drinking; and insist on proper physical exercise and maintain a good attitude.

Thin endometrium or thick endometrium will actually have a certain impact on women's health. Women with thin endometrium are prone to miscarriage and have difficulty getting pregnant, while women with thick endometrium are more likely to experience irregular vaginal bleeding. Therefore, when a woman finds some bleeding symptoms, she needs to consider whether there is a problem with her endometrium. She should go to the hospital for a detailed examination first.

What are the specific symptoms of endometrial thickness?

1. Women of any age can get sick

Endometrial thickening can occur in women of any age, during adolescence, reproductive years, perimenopause, or postmenopause. If women over 40 years old experience this phenomenon, we need to be alert to the possibility of cancer.

2. Vaginal bleeding

The main symptom of endometrial thickening is irregular vaginal bleeding. Female friends will have menstrual disorders, and bleeding during amenorrhea or a period of time after amenorrhea. The specific manifestations are irregular menstruation, prolonged menstrual cycle, and even heavy bleeding. During the bleeding period, there is generally no abdominal pain or other discomfort symptoms. Excessive bleeding or prolonged duration may cause anemia in women. Heavy bleeding may also cause severe shock in women. Therefore, if menopausal women have irregular vaginal bleeding, they must seek medical attention promptly.

3. Infertility

Thickening of the endometrium can also cause anovulatory uterine bleeding in women during the reproductive period, so in addition to vaginal bleeding in patients, infertility is actually the main symptom.

The above are all the symptoms of endometrium. In addition to causing women to bleed continuously, thick endometrium may also make women unable to get pregnant. Don’t think that this symptom is a disease that will occur in married women. Some women may have thicker endometrium due to congenital factors.
