Nausea and hiccups in early pregnancy but no vomiting

Nausea, hiccups and vomiting in early pregnancy are normal physiological reactions. This reaction is a manifestation of pregnancy. Due to the increase in hormones, the secretion of gastric acid in the stomach is stimulated. Therefore, when nausea and vomiting occur in early pregnancy, pregnant women can drink more water and eat some light food to relieve it. Nausea and vomiting in early pregnancy will not affect the development of the fetus. Pregnant women can change to the habit of eating small meals frequently and understand how to relieve early pregnancy reactions.

Is nausea and hiccups an early pregnancy reaction?

Nausea and hiccups may occur in early pregnancy. The main early pregnancy reactions of pregnant women are:

1. Stopping of menstruation

As long as the woman is of normal childbearing age, has normal menstruation, and has sexual intercourse for more than two weeks after the normal menstrual period, she may be pregnant.

2. Breast pain, swelling and itching

This is a physiological phenomenon in early pregnancy. There may be changes such as darkening of the areola, obvious veins under the skin of the breast, and obvious protrusion of the nipple.

3. Nausea and vomiting

Many pregnant women in early pregnancy often experience nausea and vomiting, especially in the morning. These symptoms also vary from person to person, with some people experiencing mild symptoms while others experiencing severe ones.

4. Changes in skin color

Skin pigmentation or stretch marks may occur on the abdominal wall, especially in the later stages of pregnancy.

5. Vaginal mucosal discoloration

In early pregnancy, the vaginal mucosa may appear darker due to congestion.

6. Getting tired easily

In the early stages of pregnancy, you may feel tired and sleepy.

7. Frequent urination

During the third month of pregnancy, the bladder is compressed by the growing uterus, causing its capacity to decrease, resulting in frequent urination.

When morning sickness occurs, pregnant mothers will feel uncomfortable and become irritable. This is very bad for the pregnant mother's mood, will also affect the formation of the fetus, and may also cause depression. So if possible, pregnant mothers can go to the park when they have nothing to do, go outside to get some fresh air, and take a walk. This can relieve psychological discomfort and early pregnancy reactions. And we must adhere to a healthy, scientific and reasonable diet to lay the foundation for our baby's nutritional health.
