Cervical laceration needs to be sutured immediately after discovery, and the doctor's suturing technique affects the healing of the cervix.

If the suture is done neatly, the torn cervix will recover quickly and well, its function will not be affected, and the scar will not be obvious. However, if the laceration is deep and the suture is not neat, or if the wound is shallow and not discovered and sutured in time, it will affect the healing of the cervix and may eventually split into several petals, forming a chronic cervical laceration. This type of cervix is ​​extremely susceptible to infection in the future, and the incidence of cervical cancer will increase as a result.
