How many centimeters below the navel is the uterus

We often talk about the uterus and know its importance to women, but because the uterus is an internal organ of the human body, we do not understand its shape and location. Generally speaking, the uterus is about 3 to 5 centimeters below the navel. In fact, we can judge the position of the uterus based on the position of a person's swollen belly during pregnancy. The uterus is an important organ for women to produce menstruation and nurture the fetus. It is an intermediate organ between the abdomen and pelvis.

The uterus is the organ that produces menstruation and nurtures the fetus. It is located in the center of the pelvic cavity, between the bladder and the rectum. The size of the uterus is related to age and fertility. For nulliparous women, it is approximately 7.5 cm long, 5 cm wide, and 3 cm thick. The uterus can be divided into three parts: the fundus, the body, and the neck. The uterine cavity is an inverted triangle, about 6 cm deep, with the two upper corners being the "uterine horns" that lead to the fallopian tubes. The narrow lower end is called the "isthmus", which is about 1 cm long. The isthmus gradually expands during pregnancy and forms the lower uterine segment at the time of delivery.

A part of the female reproductive organ of humans and animals, which is the place where the fetus or young of humans and animals develops and grows. The uterus is an organ unique to women. According to the latest modern medical research results, the uterus is the sixth organ of women, that is, women have six internal organs and six bowels.

The endometrium is the mucosa, which is composed of epithelium (single-layer columnar epithelium, which has two types: secretory cells and ciliated cells) and lamina propria (composed of connective tissue, which contains a large number of astrocytes, called stromal cells). The endometrium can be divided into the superficial functional membrane and the deep basal layer. The functional layer is thicker, accounting for about 4/5 of the thickness of the endometrium, and the basal layer is thinner and denser, accounting for about 1/5. During the menstrual cycle, the functional layer can be peeled off, while the basal layer cannot.
