What to do if you don't have nipples

The situation of no nipples, also known as inverted nipples in medical terms, will affect the beauty of female breasts because the nipples retract, which will affect the fitness of female breasts and then lose the elegance of the curves, which will have an adverse effect on the overall image of women. If a woman has inverted nipples, she usually feels anxious, lacks confidence, and is overly worried, which can seriously affect a woman's mental health. So, what to do if you don't have nipples?

1. Correct nipple retraction in time during pregnancy

It is generally recommended not to wait until breastfeeding to correct the problem, but to correct inverted nipples as early as possible. Pregnancy is a good time for correction. At this time, the amount of estrogen and progesterone in the body increases, the breast ducts and alveoli begin to develop, the breasts become larger and softer, the areola becomes colored, and the nipples are more likely to erect. It should be noted that since massaging and stimulating the nipples during pregnancy will stimulate the uterus and cause uterine contractions, nipple correction must be performed after 37 weeks of pregnancy. Special attention should be paid during massage. Once obvious abdominal pain or discomfort occurs, massage should be stopped in time to avoid miscarriage or premature birth.

You can use a nipple traction device to correct the nipples, do it 2 to 3 times a day, each time for about 15 minutes.

2. Nipple cross traction exercise

Specific method: Support the breast with one hand, and use the thumb, middle and index fingers of the other hand to pinch the nipple and gently pull it outward 10 to 20 times. Do not practice this method for too long, and the movements must be gentle, because pulling the nipples may cause uterine contractions and cause uterine contraction pain. Special reminder: Cross stretching exercises can only be done after 37 weeks of pregnancy, because stretching stimulates the nipples, causes uterine contractions, and may cause premature birth. Stop practicing during uterine contractions (before delivery).

3. Nipple stretching exercises

Nipple stretching exercises can solve the problem of how to breastfeed with inverted nipples. Specific method: First, place your two thumbs parallely on both sides of the nipple, then slowly pull the nipple apart to both sides, pulling the areola skin and subcutaneous tissue to make the nipple protrude outward. Next, place your thumbs on the upper and lower sides of the nipple and pull the nipple vertically upward and downward. Repeat these two steps several times, with each exercise lasting 5 minutes, to make the nipples protrude.

4. Pull the nipple before each breastfeeding

If the mother's nipples are too short or too small, she needs to correct them constantly before breastfeeding. It is recommended to refer to the following two methods: First, pinch the nipple with the thumb, index finger, and middle finger, and pull it outward. Pull it for at least one second each time, about 300 times each time, at least 4 times a day, before breastfeeding. The second is to use a breast pump to suck the nipple, sucking the nipple for about half a minute each time, 5-10 times in a row, at least 2 times a day.

5. Put the pacifier on the nipple to feed the baby

For mothers with short and inverted nipples, this is an extremely painful thing. You can put a pacifier on your nipple to feed your baby. In order to allow the baby to eat breast milk smoothly.

6. Build confidence in breastfeeding

Some mothers with inverted nipples often experience varying degrees of anxiety when facing breastfeeding difficulties. At this time, mothers should build up confidence in their ability to breastfeed and face breastfeeding positively. Because babies suck most of the areola rather than the nipple, mothers should introduce their babies to the breast as early as possible. When breastfeeding, use your middle finger and index finger to gently pinch the top of the areola to make the nipple stand out as much as possible and prevent the breast from blocking the baby's nostrils. Mothers can also try different breastfeeding positions to help the nipples stand up better and make breastfeeding more convenient.
