Frequent fetal movements during pregnancy

Frequent fetal movements during pregnancy

Although the appearance of fetal movement can make new parents excited, if the fetal movement is too frequent, it will not be a joy but a burden for pregnant mothers. Large and violent fetal movements can easily affect the sleep and life of pregnant mothers. So, how to reduce the impact of frequent fetal movements on pregnant mothers? Pregnant mothers can listen to some soothing music appropriately, and can also patiently comfort the fetus when the fetus moves.

Fetal movement is a way to detect whether the fetus is healthy. Generally speaking, the number, speed and strength of fetal movements can reflect the health of the fetus. Under normal circumstances, there are no less than 3-5 obvious fetal movements in an hour, and about 30-40 obvious fetal movements in 12 hours. However, due to differences among fetuses, some fetuses may move about 100 times within 12 hours. But as long as the fetal movement is regular and the changes are not big, it means that the fetal development is healthy. But if the fetal movement exceeds 10 times per hour, it can be considered as frequent fetal movement.

Four reasons for frequent fetal movement:

1. After eating, if the blood sugar level in the expectant mother's body increases, he will also be full and drink enough, then the fetal movement may be more obvious than before the meal.

2. When pregnant mothers take a bath, the warm water temperature will make their blood circulation smoother and their body and mind more relaxed. This emotion will be transmitted to the fetus, so the fetus will move more frequently.

3. Frequent fetal movements at night are also a normal reaction. This is because it is quiet at night and pregnant women do not move much, so the feeling will be more obvious. During the day, the environment is noisy and pregnant women move more, which makes it easy for the baby to fall asleep, and naturally the number of fetal movements will be less.

4. Frequent pathological fetal movements. In addition to the normal fetal movements mentioned above, there may also be some pathological fetal movements. When the fetus has some disease factors, it will cause abnormal movement. For example, when the fetus is suffering from hypoxia, it will become irritable and the number of fetal movements will increase. In addition, when the mother's belly is hit, it will also stimulate the fetus, causing fetal movement to accelerate. If frequent fetal movements are caused by pathological reasons, it may lead to miscarriage, premature birth, etc.
