Ways to relieve pregnancy symptoms

Women's pregnancy reactions are more obvious in the early stages of pregnancy. Not only will it cause vomiting, but it can also easily lead to bad mood, poor diet and other symptoms. At this time, you should understand some methods to alleviate pregnancy reactions. The diet should be lighter, and you should eat small meals frequently. In addition, you should pay attention to moderate exercise and try to avoid sitting for long periods of time. Of course, it is also important to maintain a good attitude and overcome some nervous emotions.

Ways to relieve pregnancy symptoms

1. Massage your eyes with a cool towel: When vomiting starts, the front and sides of your head will hurt, and you may even feel like you can't open your eyes. Try to avoid reading and massage your eyes. Placing a cool towel on your head and eyes is also effective.

2. Eat less irritating food: Morning is the time when expectant mothers are most likely to feel nauseous. Eat some biscuits, biscuits or candies before getting up.

3. Eat small and frequent meals as the principle: eat about every two to three hours, don’t eat too much each time, choose foods rich in carbohydrates (such as soda crackers) and protein, and try to eat less soupy foods.

4. Since the blood sugar level in the body is lower in the morning, it is easy to feel nauseous and vomit. Therefore, after getting up, you can eat something in bed (such as soda crackers) and then get out of bed.

5. If the pregnant woman is not averse to the taste of ginger, she can drink ginger soup to improve nausea and vomiting.

6. Drink more sweet and sour egg soup. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl, stir with chopsticks, add 30 grams of sugar and 100 grams of rice vinegar and mix well. Boil water over high heat, pour in the egg mixture and bring to a boil. It is especially suitable for expectant mothers who suffer from severe vomiting during pregnancy.

What is pregnancy reaction

In the early stages of pregnancy (about six weeks after menstruation), the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the pregnant woman's body increases, gastric acid secretion decreases, and gastric emptying time is prolonged, leading to a series of reactions such as dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, preference for sour food or aversion to greasy food, nausea, and vomiting in the morning, collectively known as pregnancy reactions. These symptoms generally do not require special treatment. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, as the HCG level in the body decreases, the symptoms will disappear naturally and appetite will return to normal.
