Are stretch marks painful?

Women often develop things like stretch marks during pregnancy. This is because the belly expands and is stretched, and then some stretch marks appear on it. Stretch marks not only affect a person's appearance, but also make people feel very bad. Whether stretch marks will be painful depends on each person's physical condition. Generally, it will not cause pain, but it will cause many effects on appearance.

Are stretch marks painful?

Stretch marks generally don’t hurt, but they will be a little itchy. Stretch marks are caused by the elastic fibers and collagen fibers of the skin being damaged or broken to varying degrees due to external forces during pregnancy, resulting in pink or purple wavy patterns of varying widths and lengths appearing on the abdominal wall skin. After delivery, these patterns gradually disappear, leaving behind white or silvery shiny scar lines, which are stretch marks.

During puberty, young boys and girls may have their cell division inhibited due to lack of water or the habit of drinking strong tea. As a result, skin cells are lost in stretchable parts such as the thighs. The skin formed by the filling of other cells appears inconsistent and appears to be stretch marks. Stretch marks are also called stretch marks.

Here are a few methods for you:

1. Balanced diet: Food is the most important thing for people. During pregnancy, we should pay more attention to nutritional supplements, supplement with rich vitamins and minerals, and consume protein-rich foods. However, we must be careful not to consume foods that are too oily, sweet, or too salty.

2. Weight gain: One of the reasons for stretch marks is the stretching and rupture of abdominal collagen fibers, so you should also pay attention to weight gain during pregnancy. Monthly weight should not exceed 2 kilograms, and should be controlled between 11 and 14 kilograms throughout the pregnancy.

3. Use a belly support belt: Excessive burden on the abdomen can also cause excessive stretching and pulling of the skin, so you can use a belly support belt to reduce the gravity on the abdomen.

4. Enhance skin elasticity: During pregnancy, you can eat more foods that are strong for collagen fibers and exercise more, such as yoga or simple housework, because diet and exercise are important ways to increase skin elasticity.
