If you suffer from breast hyperplasia, the pain caused by periodic congestion and edema of the breast glands will radiate to the chest, flanks, shoulders and back on the same side. As a result, when your breasts become swollen and painful, you may also feel pain and discomfort in your shoulders and back.

3. Breast lobular hyperplasia

When lobular hyperplasia occurs, that is, the mammary ducts are highly dilated, breast pain will radiate to the shoulders, back, upper limbs, etc. Sometimes patients feel pain when raising their arms, or feel tired when doing housework.

(PS: Although breast hyperplasia and lobular hyperplasia differ by only two words, they do not actually refer to the same disease. Breast hyperplasia is a comprehensive concept in medicine, while lobular hyperplasia is a specific disease. In other words, breast hyperplasia includes lobular hyperplasia.)

4. Breast tumors

Breast tumors often metastasize to the ipsilateral armpit via the lymph nodes, and patients often seek medical attention because they discover or feel lumps and pain in the armpit.

5. Total breast cancer

Sometimes the primary breast tumor is very small, and when the breast lump cannot be felt clinically, lymph node metastasis has already occurred in the axilla. The patient is diagnosed with breast cancer when she visits the doctor with an axillary lump as the main complaint.
