Stomach pain and lower body bleeding

Stomach pain and lower body bleeding

I believe that women are no strangers to the feeling of abdominal pain, especially for women during menstruation, abdominal pain is a common occurrence. Abdominal pain during menstruation is physiological pain caused by the shedding of the endometrium. This condition does not require treatment unless it is serious. But what if a woman has abdominal pain and bleeding during her non-menstrual period?

There are two types of lower abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding: physiological and pathological:

1. Generally speaking, some women will experience ovulation bleeding during their ovulation period, which is mid-menstrual cycle bleeding. It refers to a small amount of bleeding between two normal menstrual cycles, which may be accompanied by varying degrees of lower abdominal pain. If the symptoms are mild, no treatment is needed. If the bleeding is heavy or affects fertility, medication can be used for treatment.

2. If there is irregular vaginal bleeding, you should also consider the possibility of the following diseases: cervical polyps, acute vaginitis, severe cervical erosion, cervical malignant tumors, uterine submucosal fibroids, etc. In addition, sometimes due to the placement of an intrauterine contraceptive ring, there may be some blood mixed in the leucorrhea.

Some diseases that cause lower abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding:

1. Contraceptive pills cause bleeding. Bleeding after taking birth control pills is called breakthrough bleeding.

2. Vaginal bleeding after menopause. Attention should be paid to excluding malignant lesions, such as cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, etc., and then considering inflammation, polyps, endocrine factors, etc.

3. Incomplete uterine involution and puerperal infection. Incomplete restoration of the uterine placental attachment surface can cause blood clots to fall off and blood sinuses to reopen, leading to uterine bleeding. Puerperal infection is most commonly endometritis, which can cause poor restoration of the uterine placental attachment surface and poor uterine contraction, as well as incomplete sinus closure leading to uterine bleeding.

4. Genital tumors. Uterine bleeding caused by uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian cancer, endometritis, myometritis, salpingitis, pelvic cellulitis, etc.
