How to check ovulation

How to check ovulation

For women who are preparing for pregnancy, they hope to conceive successfully as soon as possible and have their own baby. However, we must understand that pregnancy is a very complicated business process. To promote the chance of pregnancy, we can check ovulation to promote the chance of conception. To check ovulation, we can use several methods to check. Let us learn about this aspect.

How to tell if you ovulated?

The underwear was wet and the secretion was like transparent egg white. Unlike leucorrhea, it was very elastic and could be stretched several centimeters. During the ovulation period, the secretion of cervical endometrial cells is relatively vigorous, but this phenomenon disappears after the ovulation period.

1. Body temperature measurement method

Based on long-term observations, we have found a pattern in a woman's body temperature changes between two menstrual cycles. When menstruation begins, a woman's body temperature begins to drop, and then reaches the lowest point during ovulation. After ovulation, the body temperature begins to rise again. Therefore, when we measure our body temperature for a long time, we can grasp our ovulation period. When the body temperature drops to the lowest, the ovulation period basically comes. The specific measurement method is to measure the body temperature when you get up every day. Generally, the armpit temperature is used as the standard, and the temperature difference is generally around 0.5°C. Because the temperature difference is small, sometimes it is not easy to see the difference and determine the ovulation period even if you measure it every day.

2. Cervical mucus method

This method is to observe some fluids discharged from the cervix during ovulation. These fluids are clear in color, viscous and tough, and can be drawn into threads. The longest length they can be drawn is 250px. You will also feel that your vulva will become moist. This method requires careful observation, and it is best to wear light-colored underwear so that it is easier to observe. In addition, women sometimes have endocrine disorders, which can also affect the test results.

3. Self-test with test paper

If women want to accurately measure their ovulation period, they can also use ovulation test strips. Generally, there will be instructions on how to use the test strips. As long as you follow the instructions, you can accurately predict the ovulation period.

Women with regular menstruation can start testing three days before ovulation. If the test is approaching the due date, the result will be two bars, which are very clear. Then ovulation will occur in about a day or half a day. If a woman's menstruation is not very regular, she should start testing after her menstruation ends.

4. Ultrasound detection

Ultrasound testing is now known as the most accurate method and the one with the most scientific basis. This method is mostly used by women who want to conceive, and it increases the chances of conception. In addition to testing the time of ovulation, this method can also see the details of the growth of the follicle, the overall condition of the egg, whether it is a dominant follicle, etc.
