Black blood during pregnancy

Black blood during pregnancy

If you experience black blood discharge during the third month of pregnancy, you should be very cautious because this phenomenon may mean that the fetus has stopped developing. In fact, the fetus is not stable during the three months of pregnancy. If bleeding occurs, you must seek medical attention in time, including finding out the cause of bleeding and the health of the fetus.

Implantation bleeding

You may experience bleeding between 6 and 12 days after conception. This is mainly caused by the fertilized egg implanting in the endometrium. So, if the bleeding is caused by this reason, there is no need to worry too much. It is also possible that some women do not realize they are pregnant and may even mistake it for normal menstrual bleeding, but the amount of bleeding is very small and lasts from a few hours to a few days.

abortion

The chances of miscarriage are highest during the 12th week of pregnancy. This is often the biggest problem in the first three months of pregnancy. About half of women who bleed during pregnancy will miscarry. But this doesn't mean you won't be able to keep the baby if you bleed during pregnancy, especially if you don't have other symptoms. Other symptoms of miscarriage include strong cramping of the lower abdominal and vaginal tissues. Therefore, if you experience bleeding during pregnancy, it is best to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Ectopic pregnancy

An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, usually in the fallopian tube. If the embryo continues to grow, it may cause blockage of the fallopian tube and endanger the mother's life. It can be seen that ectopic pregnancy is very dangerous. But it only occurs in about 2% of pregnant women. Other symptoms of an ectopic pregnancy are frequent dizziness and severe cramping or pain in the lower abdomen.

Molar pregnancy

This is a relatively rare condition and is usually caused by abnormal tissue growing in the uterus and the fetus not fully developing. In the worst-case scenario, the tissue could be cancerous and could even spread to other parts of the body. Of course, the probability of this happening is relatively low. Other symptoms of the disease are severe nausea and vomiting, along with rapid swelling of the uterus.

It is actually very common for women to bleed when they are three months pregnant. Sometimes it is because of the implantation bleeding of the fertilized egg. If the amount is not particularly large, then don’t worry too much, this is normal. Also, if a female friend has an ectopic pregnancy, she will also have bleeding symptoms. Ectopic pregnancy must not be delayed and must be treated in time.
