Ovulation is mainly detected by checking an element in women's urine, but the use of ovulation test strips is only suitable for a small number of women. Within seven days after the end of a woman's menstruation, use a test strip to detect the ovulation period. Generally, if the test strip changes from strong positive to weak positive, it means that the woman has begun to ovulate. Generally, the ovulation time is within one to two days after the change to weak. Ovulation test strips predict ovulation by detecting the peak level of luteinizing hormone (LH). It can be used for qualitative detection of luteinizing hormone (LH) in human urine, so as to determine the time of ovulation and the "safe period" in women's menstrual cycle, so as to achieve the purpose of choosing the best time for conception or using the "safe period" for contraception. Ovulation test strips are used for in vitro detection and auxiliary diagnosis of women's ovulation period. Ovulation test strips are suitable for about 30% of women and are clinically used only as an auxiliary means of detecting ovulation. During the test, the LH in the urine sample combines with the pre-solidified β-LH monoclonal antibody colloidal gold on the sample pad of the test paper to form a complex. The conjugate migrates upward to the detection line (T) area due to the capillary action of the membrane, reacts with the a-LH antibody on the membrane, and a red strip appears. Regardless of whether LH is present in the sample, when the liquid level continues to migrate to the control line (C) area, a red strip will definitely appear in this area. If the color of the red strip in the test line area (T) is darker or similar to that of the red strip in the control line area (C), it indicates a positive result, indicating that the subject is in the ovulation period; if the color of the red strip in the test line area (T) is lighter than that of the red strip in the control line area (C), it indicates a negative result, indicating that the subject is not in the ovulation period. The red stripe in the control line area (C) is the standard for judging whether there is enough specimen and whether the chromatography process is normal. It also serves as the internal control standard of the reagent. We use the principles of ovulation test strips to find out the most suitable method for detecting ovulation using ovulation test strips. That is, one week after the end of menstruation, use the ovulation test strip to test once a day. If you find that the ovulation test strip is getting stronger and stronger, you should increase the frequency of testing, and it is best to test once every 4 hours. If you compare the test strips and find that the ovulation test strip begins to weaken and quickly becomes weaker, it means that ovulation is about to occur and you can plan to have sex. The time range of ovulation is generally 24-48 hours after the ovulation test paper turns weak. |
