How does vaginal candidal infection come about?

Vaginitis candidiasis confuses many women. The prevalence of this disease is currently second only to Candida infection. In tests conducted on healthy women, nearly half of them were found to be infected with fungi. However, there are many reasons that may disrupt this kind of tranquility, and therefore, many problems may arise. For example:

Pregnancy

As the level of estrogen in the human body increases, the cells in the vagina produce more glycogen, which causes the acidity of the entire vaginal environment to increase. The fungi find suitable living conditions and begin to multiply in large quantities. After the third month of pregnancy, it is very easy to develop candidal vaginitis.

Diabetes

Because the blood contains a lot of sugar and the natural environment in the vagina is acidic, the incidence of candidal vaginitis is also very high.

Use of antibiotics

One of the side effects of antibiotics is the disruption of the balance of the body's bacterial ecosystem. A survey in the United States showed that nearly half of women developed fungal infections after using a super-strong antibiotic for more than a week.

Vaginal fungal infection is contagious. It can be directly transmitted to the other party (the man who has sex with the patient) or indirectly (such as using the same towel or bathtub with the patient). These are all transmission routes of vaginitis.
