Anterior vaginal wall loss

Anterior vaginal wall loss

The shedding of the anterior vaginal wall is also called vaginal wall bulging, which mainly refers to the tissue that cannot be normally exposed outside the vagina. It may even cause multiple injuries to the uterine ligaments and the reproductive organs of the body. The vagina is very important to us. If it is not well cared for in normal times, it will cause many complications. Therefore, in the case of shedding of the anterior vaginal wall, you must go for early examination.

Bulging of the tract wall

Vaginal wall prolapse refers to the tearing of the female reproductive organs including the pelvic floor muscles and fascia and the uterine ligaments due to injury, or the vagina due to other reasons.

Vaginal wall bulging

The supporting tissues cannot return to their normal position outside the vaginal opening.

Symptoms

The symptoms of vaginal wall bulge are as follows: Experts say that patients with vaginal wall bulge experience the above symptoms because when the bladder bulges, an angle forms between the bladder and the urethra, which affects urine excretion, and the increased abdominal pressure aggravates the bulge. If there is urinary retention, cystitis often occurs; injury to the pubourethral ligament can cause urethral prolapse, which may lead to stress urinary incontinence; severe prolapse of the anterior vaginal wall is often accompanied by first-degree uterine prolapse.

Those with mild disease may have no symptoms or feel a bulge in the genitals. Those with severe disease may feel a falling sensation, and the bulge increases in size when tired or exerting force. They gradually become difficult to urinate, and sometimes they cannot even urinate, and they have to use their hands to push the bulge back into the vagina in order to discharge urine.

Inspection Introduction

Are there different levels of vaginal wall prolapse? During the vaginal wall bulge examination, the anterior vaginal wall can be seen bulging toward the vaginal opening in a spherical shape, being soft to palpation and having unclear boundaries. A metal catheter can be inserted from the urethral opening into the bulging mass. After the urine is drained out, the mass will shrink. The degree of anterior vaginal wall bulging after breath-holding is divided into mild, moderate and severe.

Mild prolapse of the vaginal wall - the vaginal wall has reached the edge of the hymen but has not yet protruded out of the vagina; Moderate prolapse of the vaginal wall - part of the vaginal wall has protruded out of the vagina; Severe prolapse of the vaginal wall - the entire vaginal wall has protruded out of the vagina. Vaginal wall bulging often exists at the same time as uterine prolapse, but the degree of the two is not exactly the same. Sometimes the former is extremely obvious while the latter is extremely mild.
