Considered to be threatened labor.

What are the main signs of threatened labor?

Spotting is a sign of impending labor. Pregnant women will feel increasing soreness and swelling in the waist as the fetus descends. As the fetus presents to the lower part of the body descends, the symptoms of stomach compression are relieved. Pregnant women will also feel hungry, have regular uterine contractions, increased vaginal secretions, aggravated bladder compression symptoms, always want to go to the toilet, and even feel like defecating.

How to deal with the signs of labor

First, uterine contractions. When the uterus begins to contract and the contractions become more regular, you should record the time. If you think you are about to give birth, you can call the hospital or midwife. You only need to go to the hospital if your contractions are very frequent (every five minutes) or if the pain is very severe. The first birth usually takes twelve to fourteen hours, so it is best to wait a few hours at home. You can walk around your home slowly and take breaks when you need them. The doctor’s advice is to wait until the contractions are very intense and the time interval between two contractions is about five minutes before going to the hospital.

Second, the amniotic membrane ruptures. The amniotic membrane is a sac filled with fluid surrounding the fetus. When the time of delivery is approaching, the sac may rupture at any time, and the fluid will suddenly flow out in large quantities. However, because the baby is in the pelvic cavity, the fluid cannot flow out smoothly. So the common situation is that the liquid drips out. If you find fluid leaking out, you need to call the hospital immediately, even if you are not having contractions, otherwise you may get an infection.

In fact, when the delivery is approaching, mothers should not be too anxious and should keep a good attitude. Welcome the birth of your baby with a brand new mood. In the late stages of pregnancy, mothers should go out for more walks and stretch their muscles. This will facilitate the birth of the baby. Dads should also give mothers unlimited strength, comfort them and encourage them.
