Every normal woman will have her menstrual period, that is, menstruation. With the improvement of living standards, the time of menstruation for girls is gradually coming earlier. So what are the signs before a girl's menarche? Some girls will have more obvious breast development and even experience breast swelling before menstruation. In addition, lower abdominal pain is also an obvious sign. Some girls also grow very fast in this year, which are all signs of menarche.

What are the signs before a girl's menarche?

1. Breast development: Usually a girl’s menarche occurs 2 years after her breasts begin to develop. Adolescent girls should pay attention to observation and learn more about physiological knowledge.

2. Sudden growth in height: After a girl reaches puberty, her height and weight should be measured every six months. If her height and weight increase suddenly, her menarche may occur around this six months.

3. Abdominal pain: Girls may experience abdominal pain on the eve of menarche, which is only manifested as occasional unusual pain without any other discomfort. If this happens, you should pay attention to the arrival of menarche in the near future.

4. Leucorrhea: A transparent, colorless, odorless, slightly viscous liquid like egg white will flow out of the private parts. This is leucorrhea. It is a normal physiological phenomenon. If the color of the leucorrhea is found to be red or brown, or there is a small amount of blood, you may have your first menstruation in 2-3 days.

Symptoms after menarche

When adolescent girls reach menarche, their ovarian function and regulatory function are still unstable. In the six months to one year after menarche, menstruation may not come regularly every month. The second menstruation may come several months, six months, or even a year after menarche. This is a normal phenomenon. As the ovaries mature, menstruation will come on time every month.

Normally each menstruation lasts about 5 days, with the heaviest bleeding on the 2nd and 3rd days. Due to pelvic congestion, you may sometimes experience mild abdominal pain, back pain, breast swelling, poor appetite, irritability, physical weakness, and constant sleepiness, etc. This is also normal.
