Symptoms of miscarriage

Symptoms of miscarriage

When a woman just gets pregnant, because the fertilized egg is not particularly stable in the female uterus, it is particularly easy to have miscarriage. Accidental miscarriage is the greatest harm to the female body. It not only affects the female body, but also affects the female psychology. In addition, sometimes miscarriage is particularly easy to lead to lifelong infertility. So what are the symptoms of accidental miscarriage?

What are the symptoms of habitual miscarriage?

The symptoms of habitual abortion vary according to the period. Early symptoms include a little vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain. In the late stage, the amount of bleeding will increase, the pain will intensify, and the cervix will dilate.

Early symptoms

1. A little vaginal bleeding: The early symptoms of habitual miscarriage are the same as those of general miscarriage. Vaginal bleeding may continue for a few days or even several weeks, but the amount of blood is generally less.

2. Lower abdominal pain: Women who suffer from habitual miscarriage will have a dull pain in the lower abdomen, usually accompanied by a small amount of vaginal bleeding.

3. Expulsion of pregnancy products: When a woman only expels part of the pregnancy products in the uterus, and another part remains inside the uterus, it is called an incomplete abortion; if the pregnancy products inside the uterus are completely expelled from the female body, it is called a complete abortion. When a woman experiences this situation, she should go to the hospital in time for appropriate uterine cleaning to prevent the pregnancy products from causing infection in the body.

Late symptoms

Vaginal bleeding increases and abdominal pain worsens. If you check the cervix at this time, you may find that it is dilated or the fetal sac has blocked the cervical opening.

What is threatened miscarriage

Symptoms of threatened abortion usually appear in the first three months of pregnancy. If vaginal bleeding is accompanied by pelvic, abdominal or lower back pain, it may be a sign of miscarriage and you should seek medical attention immediately. There are many reasons for threatened miscarriage, the most important of which is embryo abnormalities caused by genetic factors. In addition, insufficient oxygen supply to the umbilical cord and amniotic fluid disease are also causes of threatened abortion. If a pregnant woman is emotionally unstable or malnourished during pregnancy, it may also cause miscarriage.

Any symptoms such as abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, and cervical dilation that occur within 28 weeks of pregnancy is called threatened abortion, within 12 weeks of pregnancy is called early threatened abortion, and after that is called late threatened abortion.

Generally, the main symptom of threatened abortion is a small amount of vaginal bleeding after pregnancy. Depending on the amount of bleeding and the time it accumulates in the vagina, the color may be bright red, pink or dark brown. Sometimes it is accompanied by mild lower abdominal pain, a feeling of falling during fetal movement, and lower back pain and abdominal distension.

Gynecological examination revealed that the cervix was not dilated, the size of the uterus was consistent with the number of weeks of amenorrhea, and no product of pregnancy was discharged. After bed rest and related pregnancy preservation treatment, the clinical symptoms disappeared and the pregnancy could continue. If symptoms such as vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain or backache continue to worsen, they may further develop into inevitable miscarriage.
