How do you know if your fallopian tubes are open?

If a woman has a blocked fallopian tube, it will greatly affect her pregnancy function, because the main function of the fallopian tube is to send out the eggs discharged from the female ovaries. If the fallopian tube is blocked, the eggs naturally cannot be discharged. At this time, the male sperm enters the female body, but it cannot combine with the egg. So how can we know whether the fallopian tube is unobstructed?

How to know whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed? Clinically, when we see some infertile patients, after ruling out ovulation disorders, that is, if ovulation is normal, we need to check the patency of the fallopian tubes. How do you know whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed? A commonly used method in clinical practice is to check the permeability of the fallopian tubes. After the permeability test, if the fallopian tubes are unobstructed or blocked, further hysteroscopy or iodized oil fallopian tube angiography is required to further determine the location of the fallopian tube blockage. Fallopian tube patency treatment can be performed under hysteroscopy, so that you can know whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed and how well they are unobstructed.

The main symptoms are:

1) Abdominal discomfort: There are varying degrees of pain in the lower abdomen, which is mostly hidden discomfort, soreness, swelling and a feeling of heaviness in the waist, back and sacrum, which is often aggravated by fatigue. Due to pelvic adhesions, there may be pain when the bladder or rectum is filled or emptied, or other symptoms of bladder and rectal irritation.

2) Menstrual irregularities: The fallopian tubes are adjacent to the ovaries. Generally, diseases of the fallopian tubes do not affect the function of the ovaries or the amount of menstrual flow. Menstrual abnormalities only occur when inflammation spreads to the ovaries and damages ovarian function. The most common symptoms are frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow, which may be the result of pelvic congestion and ovarian dysfunction. Excessive menstruation can be caused by uterine fibrosis due to chronic inflammation, abnormal uterine position due to incomplete uterine involution or adhesions.

3) Infertility: Infertility is also one of the symptoms of fallopian tube obstruction. The fallopian tube itself is damaged by lesions, forming a blockage and causing infertility. Secondary infertility is more common.
