Pregnant women with weak legs

Pregnant women with weak legs

Pregnant mothers have a very hard time, so babies should thank their mothers when they grow up, because mothers went through a lot of difficulties when they were pregnant. Moreover, many pregnant mothers will experience some physical conditions that make them very uncomfortable. The legs are particularly prone to problems, and some pregnant mothers experience soreness and weakness in the legs. So what causes pregnant women to have weak legs?

If pregnant mothers feel sore and weak in their legs in the late pregnancy, it may be because the growth of the fetus causes the uterus to become larger and compress the nerves. In this case, it is best for pregnant mothers to go to the hospital for a check-up. The specific cause can only be determined through the hospital's examination results.

What should you pay attention to in late pregnancy

1. Sleeping position in the late pregnancy: It is best for pregnant mothers to choose to sleep on their left side, and keep the leg on the bed side bent. With the ventral side against the bed, you will feel safer. For expectant mothers whose legs are often swollen, they can put pillows or bolsters under their legs to raise their legs when lying on their side. This improves blood circulation in the legs and reduces fatigue. Pregnant mothers should avoid sleeping on their stomachs or lying flat on their backs. Sleeping on your stomach will cause the abdomen to press on the fetus, which is very bad for both pregnant women. Lying flat on your back in the late pregnancy will cause the enlarged uterus to press on the spine, hindering blood circulation, which is also not good.

2. Abdominal pain: In the late pregnancy, the expectant mother will feel lower abdominal pain due to false labor when resting at night. The pain usually lasts only a few seconds, with intervals of several hours, accompanied by a feeling of falling. The symptoms will be relieved during the day. If an expectant mother suddenly feels persistent severe pain in the lower abdomen, it may be premature birth or a sign of uterine rupture. You should go to the hospital for treatment in time and do not delay.

In the late pregnancy, the fetus grows gradually in the mother's uterus, which not only increases the mother's feeling of belly sinking, but also makes the mother's movements more and more unstable. But if the situation is serious, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.
