Can HPV51 positive be cured on its own?

Human health is the most important thing, but people often find that their bodies are susceptible to viral infection at a certain time. Some people who have frequent sexual activities are prone to diseases if they do not pay attention to their own cleanliness and protection. Among them, the virus is a serious problem and people need to prevent it from happening seriously, but can HPV51 positivity heal itself?

HPV51 positive is a type of high-risk HPV. High-risk HPV is actually related to CIN, and severe cervical erosion is more common in chronic cervicitis. There are many types of high-risk HPV, such as HPV16, 39, 59, 58, 68, 33, etc. Generally, when encountering this situation, some detailed examinations are needed to rule out the possibility of cervical malignancy and to determine whether physical therapy or focused ultrasound therapy should be performed. A cervical scraping, TCT or colposcopy can be done.

Steps/Methods:

1. In most cases, HPV infection will heal naturally, but the health of the cervix needs to be monitored after a period of time. It is recommended to do cervical cytology and HPV DNA tests to prevent changes in the condition. If the disease has not progressed, surgery is definitely not required. And if you test positive, it means you have been infected with the virus and need surgery to treat your disease.

2. If necessary, you need to do a colposcopy. If the high-risk HPV51 is positive, it may cause genital warts. It must be treated in time. This is a sexually transmitted disease and its harm cannot be ignored. There are many options for treating genital warts. As long as it is discovered in time and treated early, precancerous lesions can be prevented. Treatment requires regular follow-up and regular HPV testing.

3. If a sexually active woman tests positive for HPV51 after the age of 30, she should first do a cervical smear test to observe whether there are abnormal cervical cells. In fact, it does not necessarily develop into cervical cancer, and the human immune system may eliminate the virus. So if not, you only need to check every year and treat any abnormalities promptly to prevent them from happening.

Note:

If surgery is required, it should be performed within 3 to 7 days after the menstrual period ends. Physical therapy can only be performed after the inflammation has healed, for example, if there is acute genital inflammation such as vaginitis or vulvitis. Vaginal secretions will increase after the operation, and there may be a small amount of bleeding when the scab falls off within half a month. You cannot take a bath, have sexual intercourse or do vaginal douching until the wound is completely healed. It will take 4-8 weeks.
