It is a normal physiological phenomenon for women to have brown discharge during their ovulation period, as this is caused by an increase in leucorrhea. Things related to menstruation are always the unchanging topics for us women. Irregular menstruation, excessive menstrual flow, and delayed menstruation are all problems we may encounter frequently. But recently some female friends have reported that there is always brown discharge before and after ovulation. Why is this?

1. Luteal insufficiency

Generally speaking, when a woman's corpus luteum function is insufficient or begins to atrophy, it will cause brown discharge around ovulation.

2. Gynecological diseases

When you suffer from gynecological diseases, such as uterine fibroids, endometriosis and other diseases, the lesions may also cause you to secrete brown substances.
