What to do if you have menstruation during physical examination

No matter they are office workers or students, they always have to do one activity every year and that is physical examination. Physical examination can effectively rule out human diseases, so for the sake of everyone's health, it is very necessary to have a physical examination every year. However, some women experience a situation where they have their period during a physical examination. So what should I do if I have my period during the physical examination?

Generally speaking, the secretions in women's bodies during menstruation will interfere with the test results to a certain extent, which will lead to inaccurate test results to some extent. Therefore, in addition to gynecological examinations and urine tests, it is also not suitable to do blood tests, electrocardiograms and other examinations during menstruation. But some routine physical examination items such as routine blood tests: liver, kidney function, blood routine, blood lipids, blood sugar, blood uric acid, tumor markers, etc. Ultrasound can still be performed to measure blood pressure, internal medicine, surgery, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray, digestive system, gynecology, thyroid, heart, etc.

It should be noted that on the day of the physical examination, the examinee should report this situation to your physical examiner so that she can make timely adjustments and arrange a time for your second examination.

Please note that the best time for women to take sodium methoxide is 3-7 days after the menstrual cycle. Common gynecological examination items include: routine leucorrhea examination, colposcopy, B-ultrasound, cervical cancer screening, breast examination, urine routine examination, etc.

During menstruation, endocrine hormones and urine tests will be affected. However, other blood tests, hepatitis B two-to-a-half test, liver function, etc. will not be affected. It depends on what you want to check. However, if it is a work physical examination, it is recommended to do it after menstruation, which is more accurate.
