My period was delayed by 15 days

My period was delayed by 15 days

Many women experience delayed menstruation because menstruation is closely related to women's lifestyle and diet. If the lifestyle and diet are irregular, it may affect the menstrual period. However, it is normal for women to have their menstruation delayed by less than one week. If the menstruation is delayed by 15 days, you should go to the hospital to check whether there are other diseases. So what are the reasons for the delay of 15 days?

1. Is it normal to delay menstruation by 15 days?

If a woman who used to have normal menstruation and sexual life has her menstruation delayed by 15 days, she is very likely pregnant. You can do a pregnancy test yourself, or go to the hospital to have blood drawn for an hCG test to confirm whether you are pregnant. A delay of 15 days in menstruation is considered late menstruation. If your period is delayed by 10 days, you should first consider whether you are pregnant. Secondly, you should consider the effects of medication, mental factors, disease factors, changes in lifestyle habits or living environment on your menstrual cycle.
