Does it hurt to see red?

We all know that pregnant women are particularly sensitive during pregnancy, and some actions may cause threatened miscarriage. Therefore, during this period, pregnant women must pay attention to their health. If they see blood, they must stay in bed in time, otherwise it may cause miscarriage. In addition, if the bleeding is severe, you may also feel abdominal pain. So what should you do if you have abdominal pain due to seeing blood?

How long does it take to have a baby after having a stomachache?

Within 24-28 hours before delivery, the cervix begins to move, causing the fetal membrane near the internal os of the cervix to separate from the uterine wall at that location. The capillaries rupture and a small amount of blood is discharged through the vagina and mixed with the mucus in the cervical canal and discharged. This bloody mucus flowing out of the vagina is what we commonly call "showing blood", and it is a reliable sign that delivery is about to begin.

Generally, a first-time mother will experience labor pains after spotting, and it will take about 12 hours for the mother to give birth. If the mother is not a first-time mother, delivery usually only takes a few hours. If you don't feel any abdominal cramps or major contractions after spotting, it will take a long time, probably 2 or 3 days.

What is seeing red

Bloody show is one of the clinical signs. Within 24-48 hours before delivery, the cervix begins to move, causing the fetal membrane near the cervix to separate from the uterine wall. The capillaries rupture and a small amount of blood is discharged through the vagina and mixed with the mucus in the cervical canal and discharged. This bloody mucus that flows out through the vagina is what we commonly call "seeing blood."

"Showing blood" is a reliable sign that delivery is about to begin, so pregnant women should promptly notice this sign when their due date has arrived and they have irregular uterine contractions, especially if they find that their shorts near the vaginal opening feel wet and uncomfortable, they should immediately check whether there is any bloody secretion on their shorts. If so, you should go to the obstetrics and gynecology hospital immediately to prevent any accidents.

Features:

1. Brown, pink and red are all possible colors;

2. The amount of bleeding is significantly less than that during menstrual period;

3. It usually occurs 24 hours before contractions, but varies from person to person. Mixed mucus flows out with a thick texture.

Warm reminder: Some conditions can also cause vaginal bleeding. But generally speaking, if the prenatal examination is normal, there are no abnormal conditions at other times, the due date arrives, and there have been irregular uterine contractions, then if bloody mucus is found flowing out of the vagina, these are reliable signs of impending delivery.

How to deal with seeing red

Because of the contraction of the uterus, the baby's head begins to fall into the pelvis, and the fetal membrane and uterine wall gradually separate and the friction will cause blood vessels to rupture and bleed, which is commonly known as spotting. It is usually a pink or brown viscous liquid, or blood in the secretions. Generally, spotting occurs 24 hours before labor pains, but it may also occur repeatedly a few days before delivery or even a week before delivery. If there is only a light streak of blood and the amount is not large, the pregnant mother can stay at home to observe and pay attention not to overwork and avoid strenuous exercise. If you experience fresh bleeding, the amount of bleeding exceeds that during your menstrual period, or you experience abdominal pain, you should be hospitalized immediately. You can go to the hospital on your own, there is no need to call an ambulance.
