My period only came with a little brown color

Menstruation is an indicator of women's physical health. If you can have your period on time every month, it is a very good thing for women. This shows that your body is in a stable state during this period and there is no disorder in its functions. Menstruation or period is regular. Women will prepare the items needed for the period in advance. Then what is the reason why the period is only a little brown?

It was my menstrual period, but there was only a little brown discharge. This should be due to the reduced menstrual volume caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis.

Why is the color of menstruation brown when it first comes?

Darker menstrual blood may be related to inflammation. In fact, the menstrual blood that comes every month is the blood flowing in the blood vessels in the body, and it should be bright red. However, because menstrual blood is mixed with sloughed endometrial fragments, cervical mucus and vaginal epithelial cells, it looks dark in color and is not as bright red as the blood flowing out of broken skin. There are also some small thin fragments mixed in the menstrual blood. In particular, some people have less menstrual blood, and the color becomes darker as the blood stays in the uterus and vagina for a longer time.

Inflammation is what people usually call "inflammation". It is a defensive response of the body to stimulation, which manifests as redness, swelling, heat, pain and dysfunction. Inflammation can be infectious inflammation caused by infection or non-infectious inflammation not caused by infection. Normally, inflammation is beneficial and is the body's automatic defense response, but sometimes, inflammation can be harmful.

Local manifestations of inflammation: Most obvious when inflammation occurs on the surface of the body, often manifested as redness, swelling, heat, pain and dysfunction. The mechanism is:

1. Red: It is caused by congestion in the inflammatory lesions. In the early stage of inflammation, due to arterial congestion, the local oxygenated hemoglobin increases, so it appears bright red. As inflammation progresses, blood flow slows down, congestion and stagnation occur, and local tissues contain more reduced hemoglobin, so they appear dark red.

2. Swelling: Mainly caused by exudate, especially inflammatory edema. In chronic inflammation, tissue and cell proliferation can also cause local swelling.

3. Fever: Fever is caused by arterial congestion and increased metabolism. Interleukin Ⅰ (IL-1), tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and prostaglandin E (PGE) produced by white blood cells can cause fever.

4. Pain: The factors that cause local pain in inflammation are related to many factors. The accumulation of potassium ions and hydrogen ions in local inflammatory lesions, especially the stimulation of inflammatory mediators such as prostaglandins, 5-hydroxytryptamine, bradykinin, etc., is the main cause of pain.

5. Dysfunction: Degeneration, necrosis, metabolic dysfunction of parenchymal cells within the inflammatory focus, mechanical obstruction and compression caused by inflammatory exudates, etc. may cause dysfunction of the inflamed organ. Pain can also affect the movement function of the limbs.
