Pelvic effusion is caused by the accumulation of inflammatory secretions of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease in the rectouterine pouch, which may sometimes be accompanied by low-grade fever, fatigue, lack of energy, general discomfort, insomnia, etc. Scars, adhesions, and pelvic congestion caused by chronic inflammation can cause lower abdominal distension, pain, and lower back pain. It often worsens after fatigue, sexual intercourse, bowel movements, and before and after menstruation. Due to pelvic congestion, patients experience increased menstruation and leucorrhea; when ovarian function is damaged, there may be menstrual disorders; and fallopian tube obstruction can cause infertility.
