Brown discharge every month during ovulation

What causes brown discharge during ovulation? In the past, my secretions during ovulation were all normal, but recently I found that the secretions were dark brown. Is this a symptom of organ disease in my body? What are the main manifestations of abnormal leucorrhea during ovulation? Female friends who care about themselves should pay attention to the following introduction!

What causes brown discharge during ovulation?

Under normal circumstances, the leucorrhea during ovulation is colorless and transparent, with a large amount and a silky appearance. However, the dark brown leucorrhea during ovulation may be caused by ovulation bleeding. In the middle and late menstrual period, that is, during ovulation, due to a temporary drop in estrogen levels, the uterine wall loses the support of hormones and part of the uterine wall falls off, resulting in periodic vaginal bleeding, which is called ovulation bleeding. Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "mid-menstrual bleeding."

The reason why the vaginal discharge is dark brown during ovulation is that after the ovulation of the mature follicle, the estrogen level drops sharply and significantly, which cannot maintain the growth of the uterine wall, causing the surface of the uterine wall to rupture and fall off, thus causing initial bleeding. With the formation of the corpus luteum, a certain amount of estrogen and estrogen are secreted, which makes the ruptured uterine wall surface repair quickly and the bleeding stops. Or it may be that during ovulation, the mature egg secretes more estrogen, causing uterine wall hematoma and blood cell exposure.

Dark brown leucorrhea during ovulation may also be caused by the blood-containing egg fluid being sent to the uterine body through the bilateral fallopian tubes against intestinal peristalsis and then discharged from the cervix through the vagina when eggs are captured at the ends of the fallopian tubes. Some people reported that when checking the cervical mucus of women with ovulation in the middle and late menstrual period, they found that about 60% had blood cells under a high-power microscope, but no bleeding that could be seen by the naked eye. I think this is a pathological condition; but women with ovulation bleeding must rule out other diseases of the reproductive system, such as irregular menstruation, cervical erosion, cervical cysts, cervical cancer, uterine intrauterine polyps, uterine cervical myomas, uterine wall adenocarcinoma, etc.

The main manifestations of abnormal leucorrhea during ovulation

1. Tofu-like leucorrhea.

Slightly yellow or yellow-green, thick or sticky, with a peculiar smell, most of which are caused by Trichomonas vaginitis, among which Candida vaginitis is more common, and often causes vulvar itching. It can also be common in chronic cervicitis, senile vaginitis, endometritis, mesometritis hematogenus or foreign bodies in the female vagina.

2. Cheese-like secretions or watery tofu-like secretions.

It is a typical symptom of common candidal vaginitis, often accompanied by severe vulvar itching.

3. Bloody leucorrhea.

If there is blood in the secretions, you should be alert to the possibility of malignant tumors such as cervical cancer and endometrial cancer. However, cervical cysts, cervical erosion, cervical myoma, uterine bleeding caused by imbalanced function, urethral caruncle, senile vaginitis and other common diseases can also cause bloody leucorrhea, a small amount of bleeding caused by the IUD.

4. Light yellow-brown leucorrhea.

It often occurs after continuous vaginal bleeding, with a large amount of pus-like and foul-smelling discharge from the vagina. Advanced cervical cancer, endometrial cancer or cervical fibroids with infection should be considered first. Those who have intermittent discharge should be aware of the possibility of cervical adenocarcinoma.

Harm caused by abnormal leucorrhea during ovulation: If abnormal leucorrhea is not treated promptly, serious complications may occur, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis and other gynecological inflammations, and more severe ones may lead to incurable diseases such as vaginal cancer, uterine cancer, and cervical cancer. In addition, due to too little secretion for a long time, the vagina's own defense function will be weakened, and women are prone to vaginitis. Therefore, once you find abnormal secretions, you must seek medical treatment in time to avoid adverse effects on the body.
